Information

Mary Petrie is an interdisciplinary scholar who teaches in the departments of English and Gender & Women’s Studies at Inver Hills Community College. She has a PhD and MA in English with minors in Feminist Studies, from the University of Minnesota. The recipient of a number of writing awards, including a Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, Loft Mentor Series Award, and Loft McKnight, Petrie is writing a personal, scientific and cultural history of misophonia. She is the parent of a young adult with misophonia.
